Since ancient times, it has been said that the women who work in silk mills, which produce raw silk from cocoons, have white and beautiful skin. The reason for this is that the protein that melts out of the silk prevents your skin from drying out.

Tomioka Silk Mulberry Silk uses 100% natural silk cocoons from Tomioka City, which is a World Heritage Tomioka Silk Mill brand.

  • Formulated with olive oil, coconut oil, and palm oil, blended with silk powder (approximately 3μ) made from cocoons.
  • As well as wine made from mulberry fruit, which is eaten by silkworms, and infused together. It is aged using the “cold process method” that does not use fire, and is naturally dried for more than 40 days.

The use of mulberry also adds a natural subtle pleasant scent that makes face-washing time enjoyable!

*This product is an authentic Tomioka Silk Brand Association Tomioka Silk Mark certified product

Key Ingredients:

Silk powder (fibroin) is a protein made up of the same 18 amino acids found in human skin. Due to its high biocompatibility, it has skin regenerative properties.

Silk has a very high moisturizing power and can hold several times more water than collagen, so washing your face with silk soap keeps your skin moisturized for a long time and protects your skin from dryness.

Silk has been found to block 90% of UV rays, making it an excellent material for skin whitening care.

* Experiments conducted by the National Institute of Agricultural Resources under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries have confirmed that contact with fibroin promotes cell division of skin cells (approximately 7 times that of collagen). For this reason, it can be expected to promote skin turnover and make the skin white and beautiful. Currently, no such substance has been identified other than fibroin.
