Why is my face so dry?

So, what is considered healthy skin?
Healthy skin means balanced sebum and hydration levels. The medical term for this is “eudermic”. Eudermic skin may be slightly greasy in the T-zone (forehead, chin, and nose), but overall sebum and moisture levels are balanced, keeping skin from being either overly oily or too dry. Now, that’s the goal!
Dry vs. dehydrated skin? Which do you have?
You can be treating your skin without getting the desired benefits if you don't know if it is dry or dehydrated.
Dry skin is a skin type while dehydrated skin is a skin condition. Dry skin happens oil/sebum production declines. Surprisingly, water retention or dehydration is not the cause.
Dehydrated skin, on the other hand, happens when your skin lacks moisture and water. Usually, your skin lacks water due to external factors like dry weather.
Thus, dry skin is more common in the winter due to the cold, dry air.
